I grew the most from the taj mahal stencil and spraypaint project. It was very hard for me to begin because I couldn't get the tracing finished. By the time I actually finished it was the 3rd day so I quickly got out the xacto knife and begin cutting it out. Because I was in a hurry I cut myself but only once. After I finished with that I hammered the wood together to make the frame. My frame was not very sturdy and a little crooked but luckily it didn't fall apart. I then painted the background and used my stencil to spraypaint the taj mahal onto my board. it was by far the worst piece of art i've ever created. I learned to be more patient with my artwork otherwise it isn't going to turn out very good.
I think the cup project was the definitely the least important. Don't get me wrong it was an excellent idea but the weather and the fact that no one brought any cups ruined it. I probably spent more time talking or playing soccer than doing the actual project. While ours was one of the best out there, as you can see. There is still no way to tell who the person was we were trying to make. Also I didn't really learn anything from this project because it was so different from everything else we were doing.
I never was able to get a picture of my northern lights painting to Mr. Sands, so I used the northern lights picture that I referred to instead as you can see above. It is really too bad that Mr. Sands never got a picture of it because it was a project that I really enjoyed and learned a lot from. For the trees I watched Bob Ross's amazing videos and copied him the best I could. While they looked a lot like Bob Ross's trees I think I injected some of my style into them. The best part of this painting was the northern lights which turned out really well and also the stars.
